Head of Creative Engagement, Poet in the City

Poet in the City is recruiting for an imaginative creative leader to oversee our engagement
programmes. This is a senior leadership position within the charity, with responsibility for
designing and delivering our communities commissioning and talent development projects.
We’re looking for someone with a passion for co-creation and changing who gets to
contribute and work in the cultural sector. Joining us as we launch new community projects
around the cost of living crisis, and secure the future of our young producers work across
the country, you’ll be someone who understands and is excited about how creative
producing can inspire change. We use poetry to change the narrative, and work in a range of
artistic disciplines to amplify the stories we create. Therefore, experience in any arts
background is valued and we welcome expertise outside of poetry. If you’re someone who’s
up for getting stuck in and being a core part of our small and dynamic team, we’d love to
hear from you!
