Poet in the City Producers is a group of talented young creatives producing events, provoking discussions, and driving campaigns to ensure young people have a stake in the future of poetry.

This is a unique opportunity to gain experience and develop your career, working with leading artists from the North East and the UK, industry professionals and arts organisations. You will also have the chance to produce your own live creative event in June in the West End of Newcastle, featuring anything from poetry, music, dance, drama, mc to rap…
The first session will take place on Tuesday 28 March at Westend Library & Community Hub (6 Condercum Rd, Benwell, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 9JH), and then weekly on Tuesday evenings at Riverside Health Project Carnegie Building (Atkinson Rd, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE4 8XS).
