Poet in the City Producers

About the programme

Poet in the City Producers is a group of talented young creatives producing events, provoking discussions, and driving campaigns to ensure young people have a stake in the future of poetry.

Each year, 16-26 year olds in London, Newcastle and Exeter develop key industry and transferable skills in creative producing. We do this through a programme of workshops, leadership training, networking opportunities and professional practice, working with some of the UK’s leading poets, industry professionals and arts organisations.

Newcastle

Working with Newcastle City Libraries, Newcastle Poetry Festival and Born Lippy, Producers are creating events inspired by the West End of Newcastle, celebrating the rich culture of this area of the city.
