Elizabeth McGeown

Pushcart-nominated poet from Belfast. She was longlisted in the Saboteur Awards 2021 for ‘Best Spoken Word Performer’ and represented Northern Ireland in the Hammer & Tongue UK Slam Championships 2019 and 2021. She won the Cúirt International Festival of Literature: Spoken Word Platform 2019 and the Cursed Murphy Spoken Word Prize 2019.Her first poetry collection was published by Verve Poetry Press in summer 2022.

Degna Stone

North-East Poet and editor. Their writing pulls towards the dark seam of life, exploring the troubling and unsettling cracks in society, raising questions about social injustice and complacency. They write about the experiences of women – young girls, wives and mothers – and the dangers they navigate and rise against.
