Young Producers – Enfield
Young Producers continues under the guidance of Apples and Snakes.
We are seeking people 18 and 25 that are passionate about event planning? Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build on your existing skills, our Trainee Producers Programme is designed for you.
Through Young Producers, you will develop key industry and transferable skills in creative producing. We do this through a programme of workshops, leadership training, networking opportunities and professional practice, working with some of the UK’s leading poets, industry professionals and arts organisation.
As well as producing your own professional event, you will also:
– Be part of a cohort of young producers
– Gain skills in programming, production and marketing
– Contribute to the cultural landscape in Enfield.
This year, we will be working with Dugdale Arts Centre and Enfield Council to develop small group of young producers from in and around the Enfield area.
Over the course of 10 engaging weeks, you’ll dive into all aspects of event planning, culminating in the exciting opportunity to produce your very own live poetry event at Dugdale Arts Centre.
Each participant will also receive a bursary of up to £650.
Sessions will take place in-person on Wednesday evenings at the Dugdale Arts Centre in Enfield, providing a supportive and creative environment to learn and grow.
Past programs have successfully taken place in cities like Newcastle and Exeter, and we can’t wait for you to be part of this journey!
Applications close 5pm Wednesday 20 November. Apples and Snakes will be in touch if you are successful by 6pm Friday 22 November.
